Classic Haute Route: Chamonix to Zermatt

This is one of the world’s great multi-day treks, linking the famous mountaineering capitals of Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland. We start this fabulous adventure from the 300 year old hamlet of Argentiere in the Chamonix valley. Although demanding at times the route provides a non-technical trek and is suitable for those who would like to experience the very best walking in the Alps.

Throughout this 210 kilometre trek we follow good paths and tracks over several mountain passes close to 3,000 metres. Our walk ends in the famous and historic town of Zermatt, Switzerland beneath the iconic Matterhorn. Join us in the land of the giants!

Tour des Combins

A fabulous Alpine trekking experience on this week long trip in the Swiss and Italian Alps. We will be exploring an area less frequented by walkers, as we walk round one of the most famous 4000m peaks in the Alps, the Grand Combin. We travel through high alpine meadows where the edelweiss grow, and climb to the Col du Grand St Bernard to the monastery which is home to the famous St Bernard dog. The terrain is remote, varied and offers spectacular of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. Join us on the Tour des Combins.

Tour del Gran Paradiso

A trip offering some of the best hiking in Italy! The Gran Paradiso National Park offer some of the most beautiful views in the Alps.

The area, which lies between the Aosta valley and the Italian Piedmont region, was named as a paradise (paradiso) for good reason! It was here in 1856 that King Vittorio Emauele II established a royal hunting reserve, saving the wild ibex from extinction. The result today is a spectacular landscape rich in flora and fauna: truly a hiker's heaven.

Tour de Monte Rosa

One of the finest and most challenging long distance walks in the Alps is to make a circuit of Monte Rosa. Lying in the Pennine Alps bordering Switzerland and Italy, the Monte Rosa massif is made up of seven summits over 4000 metres high, including the Dufourspitze, the highest peak in Switzerland. Travelling on ancient paths, through pine forests, meadows and hidden valleys, we keep as close as possible to the snow capped mountains with views to the Matterhorn, the Weisshorn and the Dom. A truly stunning trip which includes a night in the world famous alpine town of Zermatt.
