Snowshoeing Holidays
Tracks and Trails snowshoe holidays are the winter counterpart to our summer guided walking holidays. By adding snowshoes to waterproof winter boots, anyone can access snowy winter landscapes on foot. The best snowshoeing conditions are by definition found off the beaten track and that’s where Tracks and Trails like to guide its clients.
Winter Walking Holidays
The key to winter walking in the mountains on our guided snowshoeing holidays is the kit that we supply. The large frames and spikes that make up a snowshoe spread your body weight over a larger area, so you don’t sink into the snow. Instead, you can float in the powder snow to move around the mountain. The claws on the underside of the snowshoe give grip on hard-packed snow and ice so you don’t slip.
